Josh from Pennsylvania brought his beautiful 2023 CT5-V Blackwing in for upgrades. We installed all the most common mods including larger throttle body, ported stock supercharger, camshaft package, auxiliary fuel pump, flex fuel kit and header system. Josh’s final calibration is a fully automatic flex fuel tune that will work fine on any fuel from 93-octane E0 to E85. It starts adding WOT ignition timing when ethanol content reaches E20, and hits full power by E60. So E60 to E85 will make the same power. Here are the results:
- 665 whp with ported supercharger and throttle body, but no tune
- 742 whp with 2.50” pulley on 93-octane pump gas (12 psi boost)
- 758 whp with 2.30” pulley on 93-octane pump gas (14 psi boost)
- 771 whp with 2.18” pulley on 93-octane pump gas (15 psi boost)
- 809 whp with 2.18” pulley on E62 fuel (15 psi boost)
All the above numbers are using SAE correction, so you can add ~ 2% if you want to see STD numbers.
