Don brought his 2019 V Sport up from Louisiana for the full Brown Belt treatment.  Powerband is excellent as usual.  However, we were limited to fifth gear dyno pulls since V Sport TCM tuning access isn’t available.  This produces a little less boost and lower measured horsepower on the chassis dyno.  We also couldn’t pull past 6,500 rpm for the same reason.

However, after completing the dyno tuning, we took it out on the street confirmed things still looked great in real world conditions. The results were fantastic and his car produced 30 pounds of boost! While the dyno results showed 660 whp with SAE correction factor, on the street his car is making much closer to 700 whp!

Another 700 WHP monster! This ATS-V is sporting our Brown Belt Package and made 714 WHP in the summer heat (102 degree’s in the shop!), still running stock compressor inlets. There’s more on the table for this customer when he’s ready!

Brian drove his super clean CT4-V Blackwing to the Tapout shop all the way from Florida so he could spice things up a bit. He decided to start with our Blue Belt Package using the JB4 tuner. These mods along with the JB4 allowed his Blackwing to pick up 100 whp from stock! Brian plans to upgrade to a higher Performance Package as well as custom tuning with HP Tuners, but this first round of mods has got him off to the races!

Our friend Jason has been continually improving his daily driver ATS-V every year, and 2024 is no exception. As impressed as he was with Purple Belt power, it never hurts to have a little more. After driving his car from Chicago to the Tapout Tuning shop, we installed our complete Brown Belt Performance Package. We also added some extra goodies like a full set of DeWitt’s intercooler heat exchangers to help out with the track day’s Jason enjoys.

Our friend Franz has been to the Tapout Tuning shop many times before and this time he was back to push his Brown Belt ATS-V even further. The last time he was here, we had the boost dialed back a bit to keep his Stage 1 LPFP within a completely safe operating range. He does not run methanol injection, so we have less fuel to work with in his application. To remedy that, we installed a DSX Auxiliary LPFP so we could safely push his turbos further than before.

While he was here, he also had us install the ATI Super Damper for even more quality and protection. After completing the tuning on the dyno, Franz’s car put down a very strong 756 whp. This car is a riot to drive especially as an M6 car!
