Tapout Tunes dominate at the track, on the street and on the dyno as well.
Overall (LF4 powered ATS-V, CTS V-Sport and CT4-V Blackwing)
-
- SAE correction factor is the industry standard, adjusting for weather conditions in a realistic and universally accepted manner.
- STD numbers are artificially inflated by 2 to 5%, and are shown in the lower portion of the chart below.
- Uncorrected dyno numbers are not included. That would be like using a tape measure with no markings.
- Hub dyno numbers are excluded, since they typically report substantially higher numbers than dynos that measure at the tires
Lots of people claim to ‘have a 650 whp ATS-V’, but the facts tell a different story. The truth is that less than 0.50% of all ATS-Vs have actual dyno charts with 650 whp using the industry standard SAE correction factor.
