Tapout Tuning was proud to sponsor our sixth Six Cylinder True Street race class on Friday at Dragway 42 in Wayne County, Ohio.  This race came down to the wire with Paul Browning (Tapout tuned Brown Belt) and Scott Sipowicz (Tapout tuned Brown Belt) both running nine second passes all day long, regardless of the track or temperature.  The finals race was especially thrilling with Paul besting Scott 9.83 to 9.86!  The next day Scott ran an impressive time of 9.44 @ 144 mph, so there were fast times all weekend long! Special thanks to Dragway 42 for hosting this event as well as all of the other sponsors that make this event possible.

We’ll see you guys in Florida for the next Cadillac Attack event!

Corsa Exhaust Pre-order Update

We’ve gotten a lot of questions on our CT5-V Blackwing Corsa Exhaust System pre-order announcement. We spoke with Corsa to get these questions answered and now have pictures of each exhaust system.

 

When will pre-orders ship?

Pre-orders will ship August 2nd, 2024!

Will you be making one for the CT4-V Blackwing?

Yes, there will be a CT4-V Blackwing exhaust on the way soon!

 

Can I use stock tips?

No.

 

Does the muffler re-use factory valves?

Yes, the muffler re-uses the factory valves.

 

Does the system cause check engine lights?

No.

 

What are the weight savings compared to stock?

14% or 10 lbs.

 

What is the diameter of the exhaust?

The entire exhaust is 3” (2 ½” at valve/tip)

We offer these for 2016 – 2019 M6 and A8 ATS-Vs, as well as 2022 – 2024 M6 and A10 CT4-V Blackwings!

A carbon fiber driveshaft will be a significant upgrade as it will be lighter and have more torsional strength than the factory steel driveshaft. We will also be eliminating the hanger bearing and the rear rubber giubo couplers, which will increase responsiveness, acceleration and provide a more direct transfer of power to the wheels.
