Cadillac Attack Recap 2024!

It was great to hang out with the Tapout Tuning family this weekend at Cadillac Attack ‘24. Jim, Cal and Holly run a first-class event! Everyone had a great time, and we made new friends too.

Our team fielded 16 cars for this event, many set personal bests, and none broke. Scott beat the LF4 True Street record with a 9.71 second pass in his ATS-V. Bob had plenty of power to beat the ATS-V All Out record, but traction wasn’t available for the extra power that we added recently (1,046 whp!). Scott was .03 second off the Blackwing record with a best time of 9.94 @ 139 mph. All these runs were very impressive considering the 80-degree air and 2,000′ density altitude we had for most of the weekend!

Erin won the Saturday Index class, and the Queen of the Hill race as well. Jorge and Bob won the LF4 All Out class. Paul got runner up in the Manual class. And George got runner up in the LF4 True Street class. Brian also took home a pocket full of cash.

On the Road to Cadillac Attack!

Our favorite times of the year is finally here again – Cadillac Attack! It’s the biggest Cadillac racing event of the season and we are extremely proud to have been a major sponsor of this event five years running.

From its inception, this event has grown each year and we’re thrilled that more and more people have been able to attend. We love supporting events that serve to benefit and grow the Cadillac performance community, and it’s always great to be able to meet so many of our customers in person.

Brown Belt ATS-V for the Win!

Franz from Maryland recently dropped his 2016 M6 ATS-V off for an upgrade from Purple to Brown Belt. He’s been in the shop several times before for upgrades, so we were happy to see him back to take things to the next level!

After installing Pure Stage 2 Plus Turbos and ARP head studs, we also installed new Creative Steel shifter bushings to eliminate the slop in his shifter. Additionally, we installed a set of our Tapout downpipes as Franz wasn’t happy with the other brand of downpipes he had on the car.

We strapped his car to the dyno and after completing a Custom Tune, this ATS-V made an impressive 737 whp on E60 fuel! After taking his car for a test drive we were amazed with how nicely it drove. It’s like a new car, just with an extra 300+ whp it never had from the factory!
