LF4/LF3 engines start to experience valve float around 6,000 rpm at high boost levels. Stronger valvesprings will eliminate this problem, in addition to allowing larger aftermarket camshafts to be run safely.
Our Tapout Stage 2 Valvesprings and Retainers kit are the perfect drop-in replacements to solve this and require no modification to your cylinder heads. These kits were developed in conjunction with Cal Smith of Caddy Issues and will work perfectly with our Tapout Stage 2 camshafts.
However, if you would just like to update your valvesprings, our Stage 2 kit will also work just fine with your OEM cams or our Mace Stage 1 cams.
